What do you see?

At times, God gives us glimpses of what is to come. Moments where He gently pulls back the curtain and allows us to see something beyond our current circumstances. It may come through His Word, prayer, a conviction in our spirit, or an opportunity placed before us.
The question is: What do we do with it?
In Jeremiah 1, God asked Jeremiah, "What do you see?" Jeremiah responded. He paid attention. He answered. He engaged with what God was revealing to him.
How often do we do the opposite?
God shows us something, stirs something within us, and yet we choose to ignore it. We act as though nothing happened. We continue walking through life as if we were never prompted, never convicted, never invited into something greater.
But what if our response matters more than we realize?
I've been reminded that it is often in our response that God brings greater revelation.
To reveal means to make known, to expose, to show something that was previously hidden. Revelation is the uncovering the discovery of something we could not see before.
When God reveals something to us and we choose to respond in obedience, trust, and faith, He often gives us deeper understanding. One step of obedience opens the door to greater clarity. One "yes" can lead to the next instruction.
We don't always receive the full picture all at once. Sometimes God simply asks, "What do you see?" Will we ignore it and continue as though nothing happened? Or will we respond?
Maybe today, God has been showing you something… a calling, an area that needs surrender, a step of faith, or a reminder of His promises. Instead of dismissing it, pause long enough to acknowledge it.
Respond. Because sometimes the revelation you're praying for is waiting on the other side of your obedience.
Prayer
Lord, give me eyes to see what You are revealing and a heart willing to respond. Help me not to ignore Your prompting or rush past the moments You are trying to teach me. Teach me to trust You with each step, even when I cannot see the whole picture. Thank You for being a God who reveals, guides, and faithfully leads. In Jesus' name, amen.
